President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr Al-Hariri, talked to Syrian student Sarah Otri over the telephone to congratulate her for earning top grades in high school in Jordan.
The phone call was made in a meeting between the SOC’s representative in Jordan, Tariq Abbas, and Otri and her family.
“We take pride when we receive news of success and excellence of Syrians in the diaspora,” Hariri said, adding: “We congratulate you and all Syrian students who are making similar achievements as we wish you further success.”
He stressed that these impressive achievements prove to the world that the Syrian people are a hardworking, resilient and deserve a better life than the one they live under the tyrannical Assad regime.”
Sarah earned 98.9 percent GPA in high school in Jordan. Forty Syrian students earned top grades in high school exams in Jordan this year. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
