As part of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) plan to reach out to components, bodies and national figures comprising the SOC’s General Assembly, President Nasr Al-Hariri and Vice-president Ruba Habboush met with a delegation from the Syrian Future Movement party headed by Secretary-General, Nazir al-Hakim.
Participants in the meeting discussed the latest political and on the ground developments, especially the situation in the liberated areas and the constitutional process.
They pointed to the ongoing international efforts to renew the mechanisms of isolating the Assad regime and its backers, stressing that the enactment of the Caesar Act brought about major changes in the positions and policies of some major actors.
Moreover, they discussed the SOC’s plan of action for the months to come. The plan aims to improve the reality of the Syrian people at home and abroad and find solutions to the problems they are facing.
Al-Hariri stressed that the Syrian revolution will face major challenges in the coming period, which requires cooperation among all components to confront them. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
