President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem al-Meslet visited one of the formations of the Syrian National Army (SNA) in rural Aleppo. He was accompanied by Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, and Minister of Defense, Hassan al-Hammada,
Al-Meslet was also accompanied by the SOC’s members Ahmed Ramadan, Yasser Al-Farhan, Ahmed Shehadi, Najib Rahmoun, Atef Zureik and Asaad Allito.
Al-Meslet and his accompanying delegation checked up on the efforts to build the SNA as a real institution that defends the Syrian people against the murderous Assad regime and its backers as well as terrorist militias.
Moreover, Al-Meslet stressed the necessity of organizing the SNA’s efforts within a unified administrative structure, empowering it to effectively perform its tasks and duties, enforcing military and legal discipline, preventing abuses and holding accountable any abusers.
Al-Meslet stressed the SOC’s keenness on supporting the work of the Syrian Interim Government and empowering it to manage the liberated areas and provide more services to the civilian population.
