Representative of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) in the Turkish province of Mersin Fadi Ibrahim and legal advisor Hisham Al-Sabbagh met with the Director of the Migration Management Hüseyin Kemal and discussed with him the conditions of Syrian refugees in the province and ways to resolve the issues they are facing.
The meeting focused on the issue of personal documents and identification papers necessary to obtain the temporary protection ID card.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of reactivating the temporary ID protection cards of Syrian refugees returning from host countries and the liberated areas.
They also discussed the issue of Syrian women who lost their husbands in the war as the Syrian side stressed the need to give them the widowed status in the ID cards. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
