The Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) Youth Office held an intellectual, political seminar on the implications of the Iranian encroachment on Syria. The seminar included a review of the book “The Iranian Occupation of Syria” by Mutie Al-Butain.
The seminar brought together member of the SOC’s political committee and Head of the National Commission for Detainees and Missing Persons, Yasser Al-Farhan, youth gatherings, revolutionary bodies, and student volunteer teams.
Al-Farhan talked about the SOC’s efforts to resist the Iranian occupation and confront the demographic change that the Assad regime is carrying out by issuing decrees aimed at dispossessing Syrians who refused to live under Assad’s rule.
Participants discussed mechanisms to confront the dangers that threaten the integrity of the Syrian territory and disrupt efforts to reach a political solution in Syria as they stressed the importance of continuing to confront plans to partition Syria. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
