Wissam Fayez Sarah died under torture in Assad’s dungeons. Wissam was arrested 63 days ago by the military security branch. His family said that the military police sent them a note dated January 14, 2014 No. 353 telling them to receive the body and to sign that the “armed gangs” killed Wissam. Mr. Fayez Sarah, the Syrian Coalition’s political and media advisor, mourned his son, saying that “Wissam was at the forefront of the anti-regime protests and also was active in the relief work. Like every Syrian who yearns for living with dignity, equity and justice, Wissam peacefully struggled for a better future for Syria and the Syrian people.” He was arrested along with his older brother Bassam in the spring of 2012 but was released later. He arrested again in December 2013 and was tortured to death. Wissam was born in 1986, married with four children. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
