Coordinator of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) South Committee, Muhammad Qaddah, welcomed the meeting that took place on Monday between people from Dara’a and Al-Suwayda provinces and the resulting agreement on taking practical measures to resolve the outstanding issues between the two parties.
Qaddah expressed his appreciation for the efforts being made by notables from the two province as well as their high sense of patriotism and wisdom in foiling the Assad regime’s repeated attempts to provoke strife amongst the people of southern Syria.
He stressed the need for continued cooperation and coordination between the people of Dara’a and Al-Suwayda provinces in order to resolve all issues and to continue the struggle to rid the country of the decades-long injustice and tyranny of the Assad regime.
Qaddah stressed that the Syrian people’s struggle for freedom will continue against all odds. He said: “The efforts of the people of Dara’a and Al-Suwayda as well as all Syrian regions will coalesce into a deluge that will eventually drown this murderous regime and all its backers.” (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
