Head of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Abdurrahman Mustafa, met with the Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, who expressed his confidence in the Supreme Hajj Committee and its effective management of this sovereign file.
The Syrian delegation extended its sincere thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud, and to His Excellency the Minister for their tremendous efforts in order for the pilgrims to perform the Haj pilgrimage in safety and security.
The Syrian delegation also met with the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdel-Fattah Mashat to sign an agreement on arrangements for the affairs of the Syrian Haj for the 2023 season.
The Committee pointed out that Syria has received its full quota for the new season, which is 22,500 pilgrims. Syria is thus regranted its full quota of pilgrims after it was reduced for reasons related to the health and safety of pilgrims.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Saudi Minister presented a shield of honor to Mustafa, which is a miniature of the key to the Holy Kaaba.
