The Syrian Interim Government (SIG) announced that the Health Directorate in Aleppo had received the second shipment of sterilizers and medicines provided by the Syria Recovery Trust Fund.
Head of the Directorate, Muhammad Kurdi, said that the delivery of the medical supplies was in response to a request by the Ministry of Health which launched a quick response to confront the coronavirus pandemic. The supplies will cover the needs of hospitals and health centers in the liberated areas.
Kurdi added that the Directorate supplied Akhtarin hospital with consumables and laboratory equipment as part of Project 136. It also supplied Souran Center for Women and Children with medical supplies from the warehouses of the Free Health Directorate in Aleppo.
He also said that the Directorate continues to supply hospitals and health centers in northern rural Aleppo with sterilizers and medicines provided by the Fund. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
