An official source in the Syrian Coalition said that its chief Ahmed Jarba will send letters to the United Nations and the Security Council to refute allegations of the Assad regime which accused rebels of carrying out terror bombings. “Jarba said that the Assad regime seeks to cover up it crimes against the Syrian people. The source also said that the letters emphasize that “the Assad regime chooses densely populated areas to plant improvised explosive devices and car bombs to terrorize Syrians then repeats its claims about terrorism. Some Syrian cities, including Homs, were hit by a series of bloody terrorist bombings that killed scores of civilians. 25 civilians, including women and children, were killed by two car bomb explosions in Karam Allouz in Homs earlier this week. 14 civilians were also killed by a similar attack in Al Arman district on March 26th. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Assad regime sent a letter to the United Nations and the Security Council accusing rebels of carrying out the bombings. The Assad regime also explicitly accused the Security Council of keeping “silent about the terrorist crimes in Syria and the support received by the perpetrators of these crimes.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
