The Syrian Coalition condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted the humanitarian Atmah border crossing on the border with Turkey on Thursday’s morning. The bombing left at least 30 people killed and dozens more wounded.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Syrian Coalition extended its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
“In addition to the ISIS terrorist group, the Assad regime is equally responsible for this heinous crime as terrorism is terrorism regardless of who the perpetrators are. The bombings, killings, and displacement by the Assad regime and extremist groups will not succeed in breaking the will of the Syrian people and suppressing their aspirations for freedom, dignity and justice,” the Coalition said.
The Coalition pointed out that “responsibility for this crimes also, without the slightest doubt, lies with the UN Security Council and the United Nations as they have so far failed to assume their responsibilities towards the suffering of Syrian civilians.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
