The Syrian Coalition condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted Atmeh border crossing with Turkey late on Sunday, accusing the Assad regime and its allies of standing behind the bombing.
The Coalition pointed out that this terrorist attack came in response to the big gains rebel and FSA groups have lately achieved in Aleppo. The coalition also said that such heinous crimes are meant to discourage rebel fighters who are making spectacular gains against regime forces as well as the militias of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps.
The terrorist bombing targeted civilians, staff working at the crossing, civil defense and relief workers, which leaves no room for doubt as to the responsibility of the Assad regime and its allies for the attack, the Coalition went on.
The Coalition also stressed that this terrorist bombing will strengthen the resolve of rebel and FSA fighters in countering terrorism in all its forms, presented by the Assad regime, ISIS and the foreign militias. It pledged it will spare no effort to hold accountable those behind those barbaric crimes. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
