Syrian Coalition Calls for Delivering Humanitarian Aid to the Trapped People in Al Hasaka City

The Syrian Coalition denounces the indiscriminate bombing of civilians in the besieged neighborhood of Guerran in Al Hasaka, calling for the lifting of the siege on the neighborhood and the application of the UN Resolution No. 2165 that demands giving access to relief aid convoys to all the besieged Syria without the consent of the Assad regime. “The Assad regime is punishing the rebellious district of Guerran for rising up against its rule demanding freedom, dignity, and democracy. Despite the ongoing siege and indiscriminate shelling on the district, it is still showing steadfastness and resistance in the face of the regime’s attempts to kill the spirit of the revolution and in the hearts and minds of the people of the neighborhood.” The district has been subjected to indiscriminate shelling by regime forces and their allied militias who have laid a crippling blockade on the district to starve the residents and force them to surrender.
