The Syrian Coalition condemns the murder of the humanitarian activist Mohammad Arisha in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus. Salem Al-Meslet, spokesman for the Syrian Coalition, said that “we were overcome with great grief over the news of the assassination of Arisha, the humanitarian and relief activist well-known for his bravery and dedication to the service of those in need in the besieged Al Yarmouk district.” Arisha was member of a charitable organization and also founded a medical organization besides working in the relief field. “We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Arisha and vow that his death will further inspire and prompt us to continue the struggle for freedom, justice and dignity.
