Badr Jamous, Secretary General of the Syrian Coalition, condemns “in the strongest terms the criminal car bombing at Bab al-Salam crossing which claimed the lives of more than 25 civilians and wounded dozens. This cowardly act of targeting civilian areas is a terrorist act and comes in a the series of crimes that the Assad regime continue to commit against the Syrian people. The Assad regime seeks through these criminal acts to strike the social base of the revolution and break their the will of the Syrian people.” Jamous also states that “we extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and we with the wounded speedy recovery. The perpetrators of these crimes against innocent civilians will not go unpunished, nor will the Assad regime be able to achieve its objectives in breaking the will of the Syrian people who are demanding freedom, justice and democracy.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
