Syrian Coalition Condemns Blast at a School in Homs

Salem al-Meslet, spokesman of the Syrian Coalition, condemns the car bomb attack that occurred yesterday outside the Ekremah al-Makhzoumi elementary school in Homs. More than 30 people, mostly schoolboys, were killed in the attack that left many more wounded. “On behalf of the members of the Syrian Coalition I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish speedy recovery for the wounded. This cowardly criminal act comes within a series of similar daily crimes that affect every part of Syria and serves only the interests of the Assad regime especially in light of the growing discontent among Assad’s supporters due to the mounting losses in their ranks.
