Syrian Coalition Condemns Execution of Captive Lebanese Soldier

The Syrian Coalition condemns in the strongest terms the execution of the captive Lebanese soldier, Hamad Hamiya, vowing that those involved in this heinous crime will be prosecuted and held to account. Al Nusra Front published a video showing Hamiya and another captive soldier, Ali al-Bazzal, who pleaded to the Lebanese government to immediately move to save his life. “Any party that adopt such acts are undoubtedly aiding the extremist groups that have long been rejected by the Syrian people. The Syrian people have borne the brunt of the crimes of extremist organizations that has been unleashed by the Assad regime to wreak havoc and terror in the liberated areas.
