The Syrian Coalition strongly condemns the terrorist bombings carried out by ISIS in the town of Tal Tamr in rural Al-Hasaka earlier today. Over 20 people were killed and dozens more wounded in the car bombings.
“In terms of method of execution and the choice of targets, today’s terrorist attacks in Tal Tamr bear resemblance to ISIS’s brutal practices all across Syria,” the Syrian Coalition said. It added that “the Assad regime and its allies desperately seek to exploit such attacks to their advantage so that they can wriggle out of any international efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to the conflict.”
The Syrian Coalition extended condolences to the families of the victims, stressing that the whole world should realize that the only way to tackle the terrorism plaguing Syria is through eliminating its root cause, the Assad regime. The source of terrorism in Syria is the Assad regime, which continues to involve in all forms of terrorism backed by its Russian and Iranian allies. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
