The Syrian Coalition condemned the terrorist blast which targeted a soldier carrier of the Turkish army in the southeastern province of Batman on Thursday.
The Coalition reaffirmed it firmly stands with the Republic of Turkey in the face of terrorism in all its forms as it stressed the need for concerted international efforts to combat terrorists and their sponsors and work on drying up the sources of terrorism and the states sponsoring it.
The Coalition extended its condolences to the families of the victims as it wished the injured speedy recovery. It recalled that that terrorism targeting peoples of the region is one. We are all affected by terrorism due to the inability of the world to stand up to its sponsors and supporters, chief among them are the Assad and Iranian regimes.
Anadolu news agency said that elements of the “outlawed terrorist” PKK organization carried out a terrorist bombing in the eastern province of Batman, killing seven Turkish servicemen and wounding two others.
Responding to the attack, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay tweeted: “Our state will respond to terrorism and its supporters within and outside our borders.” (Source: Syrian Coalitions’ Media Department)
