Syrian Coalition Condemns the Kidnapping of Activists

The Syrian Coalition condemned the kidnappings of citizens, journalists and human rights activists, stressing that it is making every effort, in coordination with the FSA, to “release the kidnapped activists, and ensure the safety of those still working in Syrian territory.” The Syrian Coalition’s remarks came after armed men kidnapped the staff of the Violation Documentation Center in Syria while they were working in their office in Douma near Damascus. The kidnapped includes Razan Zeitouneh, the human rights activist, Samira Al Khalil, Wael Hamada and Nazem Al Hammadi. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
