The Syrian Coalition congratulates Syrian women on International Women’s Day. “We highly commend the sacrifices that have been made by Syrian women, making them an example for the world.” The Syrian Coalition said that the regime’s murderous brutality towards women of Syria has exposed the chasm between the image it presented to the world and reality. The Syrian Coalition also praised “all efforts made by Syrian mothers, young women and activists who are increasingly participating across all spectrum of the revolution, and who formed the backbone of the revolution.
