A Syrian Coalition delegation headed by President Khoja arrived today in Moscow in an official visit at a request of the Syrian Coalition. The delegation will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov tomorrow and then with Russian President’s special envoy for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov.
The meetings will discuss the latest political developments and the briefing submitted by the Special Envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, to the UN Security Council in early August. They will also discuss the situation on the ground in Syria, most importantly in Zabadani, and will also discuss the Syrian Coalition’s position on political solution and the document of a political settlement it agreed upon with the Syrian opposition components.
The Syrian Coalition delegation includes Vice-presidents Nagham al-Ghadiri and Mustafa Osso, member of the political committee Badr Jamous and member of the General Assembly George Sabra. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
