The Syrian Coalition call for holding an emergency ministerial Arab League meeting to discuss Hezbollah’s invasion of Syria. “The gravity of Hezbollah’s aggression in Syria requires referring the file to the International Criminal Court and putting pressure on Hezbollah to withdraw its militias from Syria. The calls were made yesterday during a meeting between head of the Legal Committee Haitham al-Maleh and Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil al-Arabi.
Al-Maleh presented a memorandum highlighting the difficult conditions experienced by Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Earlier this week hundreds of refugee tents in Lebanon were set on fire, leaving thousands of refugees without shelter. The memorandum also condemns Hezbollah invasions in Syria and aiding the Assad regime in committing more atrocities against the Syrian people.
Furthermore, al-Maleh explained the Syrian Coalition’s point of view of the upcoming Cairo Conference to be held in the next few days and the decision of the General Assembly to boycott it.
He also explained the Syrian Coalition’s position on the latest Geneva bilateral consultations and the meeting with international envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura who met with President Khoja yesterday in Istanbul. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
