Mr. Jarba met with Mr. Nouri Abu Sahileen, head of the Libyan National Council and head of his country’s delegation to the Arab Summit. Jarba briefed Abu Sahileen about the political and military situation in Syrian. He also expressed his best wishes for the success of the Libyan National Council in the upcoming elections of the Constituent Assembly that will draft a new constitution for Libya. Abu Sahileen said that his country fully support giving Syria’s seat in the Arab League to the Syrian Coalition, wishing that Libya be in a stronger position to support the Syrian people. He also stressed the need to focus on both the political and military sides in the revolution, recalling how Libya passed ordeal and stressing that all revolutions face obstacles and transient ideological differences that will be overcome by the people who aspire for democracy and freedom.
