The Syrian Coalition extends the warmest greetings to all Syrians on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, hoping that it sends a good omen and an occasion for the renewing of hope and faith in God, victory and the right to life and liberty as wells as for the achieving of the aspirations of the Syrian people.
In a statement released today, the Syrian Coalition said that pilgrims are gathering today at Mount Arafa, including thousands of Syrians who are making supplications to Allah to end sorrow and hasten the victory.
The Syrian Coalition’s Hajj Committee announced that 12,000 Syrian pilgrims had arrived at Mount Arafat this morning, coming from Turkey, Beirut, Cairo and Amman.
The statement said that the days of Eid has always been an occasion of love, joy and hope for Syrians, pointing it the duty of all Syrians on this day to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the fallen heroes, the patience of mothers, the innocence of children, the heroic deeds of rebels, the steadfastness of the detainees, and the suffering of refugees and the displaced.
The Syrian Coalition renews reaffirms pledge that it will make the maximum efforts to help achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people, renewing commitment to the principles of the revolution and its great objectives.
The Syrian Coalition also renews emphasis on the greatness of the Syrian Revolution and confidence in the people involved in it, stressing the legitimacy of the demands for justice, freedom and dignity. It notes that the blood sacrificed for the revolution will surely lead to Syrians to what they deserve, namely to live a decent and dignified life. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
