The Syrian Coalition strongly condemns the heinous crime committed by the Assad regime backed by Iraqi militiamen of Abu al Fadl al Abbas Brigade in the town of Khanasser southeast of Aleppo. The Syrian Coalition also calls on the UN Security Council to “enlist this armed thuggish organization on the list of terrorist organizations,” repeating its call to the Arab League to pass a resolution condemning the attitude of the Iraqi government and requesting that they take the necessary measures to control their borders and stop sending terrorist militias that assist Assad in killing the Syrian people.” Activists in the town Khanasser said that this Iraqi militia “summarily executed 26 civilians in the town, mostly young men. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars.
