A delegation of the Syrian Coalition arrived today in Cairo and is scheduled to hold talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi on the ongoing conflict in Syria. The delegation is headed by Hadi al-Bahra, president of the Syrian Coalition and Nasr al-Hariri, the Secretary General and members Khaled Nasser, Haitham al-Maleh, Salah Darwish, and Qasim al-Khatib. The delegation calls for a greater Egyptian in finding a political solution to the conflict in Syria that ensures the departure of Assad and restore stability, stressing its rejection of any solution or settlement that comes at the expense of the rights Syrian people or the integrity of Syrian territory. Moreover, the delegation stresses that establishing a buffer zone in Syria is not solely a Turkish requirement, but one that has been made by the Syrian people since Assad unleashed his killing machine and air force against the Syrian cities and towns.
