Syrian Coalition Lists Regime Officials Considered Eligible for Transitional Ruling Body

Fayez Sara, political and media adviser Syrian Coalition head’s said that the Syrian Coalition “has a list of regime officials from the Assad regime who are eligible to be part of the transitional ruling body.” Sarah denied reports about the unavailability of such officials, who meet the conditions set by the Syrian Coalition; namely, officials whose hands are not stained with the blood of the Syrian people. Sarah added that “There are names but we prefer not to disclose them for safety of these officials.”  The Syrian Coalition endorsed a document of principles last February, which stresses the exclusion of regime officials who took part in shedding of the blood of the Syrian people.
