The Syrian Coalition considered in a statement that the death of former South African President Nelson Mandela as a “loss for peace and humanity,” and described him as “a real man and a brave hero, who knew the meaning of freedom and advocated it for all the peoples on earth.” The Syrian Coalition expressed its “profound regret for the loss of Nelson Mandela,” the anti-apartheid icon who inspired the world with love of peace and freedom.
