A delegation from the Danish Parliament visited the Syrian Coalition at its headquarters in Istanbul yesterday evening. The meeting discussed the situation in Syria and prospects of cooperation between the two parties to support the demands of the Syrian people.
The Danish delegation expressed its support for the cause of the Syrian people and their revolution against injustice and their right to freedom and dignity, while the Syrian Coalition reaffirmed its commitment to serve the Syrian revolution till the aspirations of the Syrian people are achieved.
The Syrian Coalition reiterates its rejection of terrorism in all its forms, specifically the state terrorism practiced by the Assad regime and the terrorist acts of ISIS. It also reviewed plans to establish a national army whose task will be preserving the integrity of Syria’s territory and the unity of its people.
Moreover, the Syrian Coalition presented a short summary of the Syrian revolution since it erupted and gave statistics and evidence on the criminality of the Assad regime against the Syrian people. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
