Nasr al-Hariri, Secretary General of the Syrian Coalition, participated in funeral prayers for the souls of Ahrar al-Sham fallen heroes in Al Fateh Mosque in Istanbul, and was accompanied by Safwan Jandali, member of the Syrian Coalition of and members of Syrian civil society organizations. More than a thousand people attended the funeral prayers which were called for by Turkish NGOs, and participants held photos of the fallen heroes and wrote banners mourning their loss and praising their bravery and heroism. Hariri delivered a speech praising the fallen heroes and stressing that that the revolution will continue whatever the sacrifices. The Syrian Coalition of the Syrian extended its sincere condolences to the families of the fallen heroes who died last Tuesday in a mysterious explosion that took place during a meeting of the top leaders of the Ahrar al-Sham Movement in northern Idlib. Almost all the movement’s senior commanders died in the explosion, including its overall leader Hassan Abboud, Abu Yazan al-Shami, Abu Talha al-Ghab, Abu Abdul-Malik and Abu Ayman al-Hamwi. The Syrian Coalition pointed out that Abboud and his comrades took the lead in defending the Syrian people against the brutality of the Assad regime and had significant contributions to the revolution.
