President of the Syrian Coalition Abdurrahman Mustafa said that the withdrawal of the militias of the terrorist Democratic Union Party (PYD) from all Syrian territory is an important step that will help alleviate the suffering of Syrian civilians.
Mustafa said that the continued violations of the PYD militia against the civilian population are as bad as those being committed by the Assad regime, especially the murder and arbitrary arrests. The latest of these violations was the PYD’s detention of member of the Syrian Coalition Abdulhamid Tamo near Qamishli on Saturday.
Mustafa cited the mass demonstrations in different areas in northern and northeastern Syria demanding the withdrawal of the PYD militia and in protest over the violations these militias are committing on a daily basis and their tyrannical mentality that is similar to that of the Assad regime.
“The withdrawal of these terrorist militias will enable the return of displaced persons to their areas and homes,” Mustafa said, pointing out that the PYD militia is responsible for the mass forced displacement of the local population as he called for the immediate cessation of support for these militias.
