Members of the Syrian Coalition’s political committee met with representatives of the refugee camps in the north to identify the refugees’ needs and try to meet them. The meeting took place in Turkish border province of Hatay, and it was agreed to engage representatives of the refugees in the upcoming periodical meetings of the Syrian interim government. Khaled Khoja, president of the Syrian Coalition, issued orders to the interim government and Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU) to study the demands put forward by the administrations of the refugee camps and provide them with needed aid within the available resources. Khoja outlined the obstacles the Syrian Coalitions faces when trying to respond to the needs of Syrian refugees in neighboring countries and look into ways to cope with the extreme weather conditions resulting from the snowstorm hitting the region. In a similar vein, Khoja met with the head of the Turkish Red Crescent Mohammad Gul Oulu and they both discussed ways to facilitate the delivery of relief aid to Syrian refugees (Source: Syrian Coalition)
