The Syrian National Coalition said that every time the Assad regime and Russia suffer losses, whether political or military losses, they exact revenge on innocent civilians. It stressed that the regime and its allies escalate attacks on civilians, the latest of which is the deadly bombardment on Idlib city which killed and injured scores of civilians.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Coalition said that “the heroism the Syrian National Army fighters are showing in Idlib today is the appropriate response to the atrocities Russia, the Assad regime, and Iran are committing in Syria.”
“For the past several years, the Syrian people have been showing legendary resistance in the face of the murder and criminality machine of Russia, Iran, and the Assad regime despite continued inaction by the international community and its refusal to shoulder its responsibilities.”
The Coalition added: “The free word is required to take swift action to enable the people in northwestern Syria to stay in their land and allow the return of hundreds of thousands of people who were displaced by the Russian Air Force.” (Source: Syrian National Coalition’s Media Department)
