Member of the Syrian Coalition’s political committee Osama Taljou said that the Syrian people want a permanent solution in Syria, adding that Assad will be inevitably transitioned out, a reality that he will recognize with the start of the next round of negotiations.
Taljou pointed out that the Assad regime is still avoiding serious talks on reaching political solution to gain time, stressing that the Syrian people insist on the departure of Assad and bringing about a genuine and complete transition in Syria.
Taljou said the regime evades engaging in direct negotiations. He also said that the regime’s negotiating delegation to Geneva refuses to discuss political transition in Syria and insists that the fate of Assad is not a subject for negotiations. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
