The Syrian Coalition will hold a three-day meeting tomorrow to elect a new governing body, namely the President and his deputies, the Secretary General and the political committee. The meeting will also discuss the fast unfolding developments in Syria and the region in general and its impact on the course of the revolution, especially that the developments in Iraq has had a direct impact on the conflict in Syria. Analysts believe that the policies of the Maliki regime, one of Iran’s regional agents, contributed to the escalation of the conflict in Syria through facilitating the flow of Iranian-made militias to fight alongside the Assad regime.
