The Syrian Coalition reiterates its condemnation of all types of violations against civilians, stressing that it rejects imposing any views or beliefs that contravene principles of human rights and freedom of thought, religion and expression under any pretext or justification.
Spokesman for the Syrian Coalition Salem al-Meslet said that “we are concerned over Al Nusra’s latest actions and abuses against civilians and FSA fighters,” adding that the abuses “represent serious violations ISIS’s and the Assad regime’s criminal behaviour.” He points out that Al Nusra Front’s latest series of violations and abuses and its refusal to dissociate itself from al-Qaeda will lead to the loss of any residual amount of Syrians’ sympathy.”
Meslet concluded his remarks stressing that “any side that adopts such extremist policies is hostile to the Syrian people and their values and traditions,” also stressing that “the Syrian revolution regain freedom and dignity and ensure freedom of opinion and belief, and also the right of the Syrian people to their future.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
