Syrian Coalition: We Call on International Journalist Groups to Advocate for Syrian Journalists

The Syrian National Coalition renewed its call for “all organizations concerned with rights of journalists, led by “Reporters Without Borders” to fulfil their obligations towards Syrian journalists in the face of the regime’s targeting of them over more than two and a half years without regard to the covenants and conventions that are imposed on all parties to maintain the safety of journalists in all circumstances.” This came during a press statement issued by the Syrian Coalition in which it expressed its sincere condolences to the families of martyred media heroes, Ammar Tabajou, Hassan Haron, Akram Silaik, Ammar Khitti, and Yassin Haron, who died yesterday while performing their media mission while covering the battles to break the siege of East Ghouta few days ago.
