Syrian high school students graduated summa cum laude in some host countries in the 2016 academic year. Student Nadia Hubous was ranked first after completing her secondary education, scientific studies, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Student Hajar Koteifan has come first in secondary education exams, scientific studies, in the United Arab Emirates. She received a phone call from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President of the UAE and Prime Minister, congratulating her for her achievements.
Syrian student Noor Qassab won an Excellence Award in Germany after having achieved a perfect score in her secondary education exams. Noor Almufdi has ranked fifth in her secondary education exams, scientific studies, in the UAE.
Member of the Syrian Coalition’s political committee Nora Alameer wrote to the students to congratulate them on such spectacular achievements hoping they will later contribute to rebuilding future Syria.
Alameer also saluted the Syrian students trapped in besieged areas who showed unwavering determination to complete their education despite the extremely hard circumstances they face, particularly in the town of Madaya in rural Damascus.
