The Syrian Supreme Hajj Committee recently participated in a significant meeting alongside the Hajj missions from various Islamic nations. This gathering was held upon the gracious invitation of Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Emir of the Medina region. Notable attendees included Muhammad Shukri, Vice-Chairman of the Syrian Supreme Hajj Committee, and Samer Bayrakdar, Director of the Syrian Hajj. Together, they engaged in discussions concerning the key issues and concerns that impact all pilgrims for the current 1444 (Hijri) season.
During the meeting, the Syrian delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their exceptional services rendered to the pilgrims. They also commended the notable advancements made in the realm of Hajj and the exceptional support provided specifically to the Syrian pilgrims. The committee further disclosed that the number of Syrian pilgrims for this year reached a total of 22,500 individuals.
