Head of the Syrian Interim Government, Abdurrahman Mustafa, conducted a tour of the town of Ras al-Ayn in the Hasakah countryside, engaging with farmers, tradesmen, and local dignitaries while inaugurating a new office in the town.
Accompanying Mustafa were Abdul Majeed Barakat, the Vice President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Abdulhamid Uyar, the Deputy Governor of the Turkish province of Sanliurfa, and Jihad Marei, Secretary-General of the Syrian Tribal Council. Additionally, several members of the SOC, the Syrian Tribal Council, and heads of the local councils in Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad were part of the delegation.
The Syrian Interim Government emphasized that the opening of its new office in Ras al-Ayn aligns with its strategy to fortify the structure of its institutions and enhance communication with the local population. It underscored that strengthening its presence in the regions east of the Euphrates would yield positive effects on the overall conditions of the area, leading to an expansion in both the scope and quality of basic services provided.
