The Syrian-Turkish Joint Committee, Headed by the Committee’s Coordinator Ahmed Bakkoura and in the presence of the Committee’s Communications Officer Inas al-Najjar, met with Coordinator of the Turkish Ministry of the Interior’s committee at the Turkish parliament, Celalettin Güvenç in order to discuss the major obstacles facing Syrian refugees.
The two sides talked about the major problems facing Syrian refugees in Turkey and discussed solutions to those problems.
Bakkoura explained to Mr. Güvenç the work of the joint committee and its important role in communication between the Syrian refugees and the Turkish authorities.
For his part, Mr. Güvenç expressed his admiration for the work of the joint committee, stressing that it was able to convey the voices and concerns of Syrian refugees to the official authorities, in addition to following up on all the problems facing them.
Th Syrian-Turkish Joint Committee is constantly discussing the situation of Syrian refugees in Turkey with the Turkish authorities.
