The seventeenth session of the General Assembly’s meetings opened today in the headquarters of the Syrian Coalition in Istanbul. The meeting, which will last two days, will discuss the field situation in Aleppo, the south front, Rural Damascus, Idlib, Hama and Ayn al-Arab (Kobane). It will also discuss the ceasefire plan put forward by the UN special envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura and the Dohuk Agreement, which was signed between the Kurdish National Council and the Movement of the Democratic Society. The topics that will be discussed also include the needs of the refugees in the camps, the statute of the Syrian Coalition, the salaries structure, and the programs and projects of Syrian interim government.
