Ali Amiri Hall in the Turkish city of Istanbul was the scene of the launch of the premiere of the Wartime Children film which talks about Syrian female detainees in Assad’s prisons and the life of refugees and displaced people in the border areas. It also sheds light on the plight of Syrian children ravaged by Assad’s war machine. After the end of the show, the film director Tulay Gokhiman talked about the film and the circumstances during which it was made, followed by a speech delivered by deputy head of Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), sponsor of the event. In recognition of the efforts of director Gokhiman, Nora Al-Ameer, member of the political committee, awarded her a token of gratitude on behalf of the Syrian people and the Syrian Coalition in recognition of her efforts to produce the film. After the end of the show, attendees listened to testimonies of Syrian children who survived Assad’s bombing but suffered bodily injuries and lost many of their family members.
