The Netherlands Signal Willingness to Support the FSA

President Khaled Khoja met with the Netherlands Envoy on Syria Affairs, Nicholas Van Damme today in Istanbul. Van Damme expressed his country’s full solidarity with the Syrian people and signaled its willingness to support the FSA. The meeting also discussed the regional and international situation and the Syrian Coalition’s strategy in the next phase as well as its position on any proposals and initiatives for resuming the negotiations with the Assad regime. Khoja reiterated the Syrian Coalition’s commitment to respecting the choices of the Syrian people and to remain open to dialogue with all spectra of the Syrian opposition. Khoja thanked the Dutch delegation on the attitudes of the Netherlands in support of the cause of the Syrian people and their demands for freedom, dignity and democracy. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
