The Syrian Coalition deeply condemns remarks made by Tunisian Foreign Minister about lifting of the diplomatic sanctions imposed on the Assad regime.
“This decision coincides with the Assad regime’s escalation of massacres against the Syrian people all over Syrian territory and of the demolition of houses on the heads of their inhabitants and the displacement of the population in increasing numbers.”
The Syrian Coalition is also surprised by this move, calling instead for greater boycott of the Assad regime which is a mafia exercising only death and destruction.
This sudden decision conflicts with the Arab League’s decision No. 7510, and resolution No. 7438, calling for the severance of diplomatic relations with the Assad regime, and the withdrawal of ambassadors from Damascus. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
