The Turkish Red Crescent set up a field hospital in rural Idlib, composed of 50 fully equipped beds this week.
Mintz ÅžimÅŸek, Deputy Director General of the Turkish Red Crescent said that “the setting up of the field hospital came at the request of Syrian doctors operating in rural Idlib as the Turkish Red Crescent secures medical supplies and vehicles for the hospital to operate perfectly. He also said that the hospital consists of 50 beds, operating rooms, intensive care units, the X-ray equipment, and equipment for clinics.
Simsek pledged to continue to provide aid to the Syrian people because regime forces bomb areas without regard to the presence of children and women, causing massive numbers of casualties.
Spokesman for the Syrian Coalition Salem al-Meslet commends the efforts of the Turkish Red Crescent and thanked them for the good initiatives to support the Syrian people, especially in the medical field. He also thanked charity and civic organizations that responded to Syrians’ calls for support.
