Activists said that two civilians were killed and dozens wounded in the ongoing aerial bombing carried out by regime forces on the city of Al Raqqa which has been coming under intense aerial shelling for four consecutive days without any response from the US-led anti-ISIS coalition whose airplanes dominate the skies over the city. An activist in Al Raqqa told the Media Office that the situation in the city foretells a humanitarian catastrophe in view of the severe shortage of medical supplies and blood bags and the inability of the field hospitals to cope with the high number of injuries. People are dying of simple injuries that are otherwise treatable.” Ten more civilians were killed in similar raids on Deir Ezzor. Activist said that Assad’s air force bombed the towns of Sabha, Al Buleil, Hatla and Albu Omar near Deir Ezzor airbase. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
