The Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) coordinator of the Al-Jazira and Euphrates Committee, Abdelbaset Abdullatif, stressed that the terrorist PYD militia is primarily responsible for the dire living conditions east of the Euphrates.
Abdullatif pointed out that the PYD militia does not only commit the crimes of murder, arrest and torture against civilians, but also steals fuel and fodder from farmers, which negatively affected the work of the local people, most of whom work in agriculture and livestock.
He added that the local population organize demonstrations on almost daily basis to protest against this theft, stressing that corruption is rampant among the rank of the PYD militia.
Abdullatif called for an end to support for the PYD militia; abstaining from providing it with any cover under any pretext, and holding it accountable for all its crimes against the Syrian people. He stressed that no one can remain silent about the crimes of this militia.
