The Emergency Response Coordinators Team condemned the deliberate targeting of hospitals, schools, public markets and IDPs camps in northwestern Syria as showing utter disregard for civilian life amid total lack of deterrence of these inhumane acts.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the Team said that the PYD terrorist militia’s recent attack on a camp for the IDPs in the village of Kuwait Al-Rahma near Afrin in northern rural Aleppo destroyed tents and houses as well as caused casualties among the IDPs.
The Team indicated that the attack is part of a unified policy by the Assad regime, the PYD militia, Iran, and Russia who are seeking to destroy any semblance of life in northern Syria.
The Team said that since the beginning of this year, the Assad regime, its allis and the PYD militia targeted at least 28 vital facilities, camps for the IDPs, and service centers in northwestern Syria.
The Team stressed that these attacks constitute a serious war crime as they aim to destroy civilian infrastructure and deprive civilians of any necessities of life and the means of survival.
In a press issued on Sunday, the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) condemned the attack on the village of Kuwait Al-Rahma. It stressed that the PYD terrorist militia is another face of the Assad regime, as both are seeking to kill civilians and destroy the liberated areas, kill the Syrian people, and worsen their tragedy.
